With the cooperation of Hibernia Management Development Corporation, a non-denominational Chaplaincy Program was introduced to Bull Arm workers by Rev. Dr. Edison Wiltshire in December, 1991.
Two Thousand
A consistent chaplaincy presence continued through the completion of the Hibernia Gravity Base Structure, and following tow-out to the Grand Banks, recommenced offshore. Offshore related visits to the Heliport resulted in on-going contact with Helicopter personnel. Chaplaincy to offshore transportation providers as well as North Atlantic employees at Come-By-Chance both began in 2000.
Two Thousand & Three
With the blessing and cooperation of the St. John’s International Airport Authority, EZRA onsite chaplaincy extended to the airport early in 2003. The arrival of the Terra Nova vessel at Bull Arm generated an invitation for chaplaincy to commence to FPSO workers and their families. This program with Petro-Canada was put in place by EZRA Chaplaincy in October, 2000.
Two Thousand & Five
In July of 2005, EZRA extended chaplaincy services to Husky Energy following the blessing of the Sea Rose FPSO at quay in Marystown. With the construction of the Hebron GBS, Chaplaincy to Bull Arm recommenced again in June of 2013.
